About BEYOND IYANOLA
BEYOND IYANOLA is a diaspora focused organisation based in the United Kingdom. Started in 2017 by co-founders Mandy and Marlon Preville-Findlay, as a grassroots collective, we developed into a Community Interest Company (CIC) in December, 2022.
We aim to identify, amplify and celebrate the brilliance of the diaspora as a means of providing a platform for greater community cohesion. Our ‘Movement for Development’ has taken many forms from information sessions to publications which benefit the community both locally and globally, with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) and the Global Compact for Migration (GCM) as our foundational focus.
People of Caribbean heritage make up a significant part of the population of countries outside of the Caribbean. They reside in countries on all continents, with the majority based in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and across Europe. The reasons for settlement are varied, from seeking wider employment opportunities to educational advancement; and some stay for short periods or extend their stay permanently.
Caribbean governments recognize the value of such citizens and are working to tap into the power of their diaspora in nation building.
Our Mission
With a special focus on Saint Lucia, our mission is to create sustainable, empowered communities within the global Caribbean diaspora, ensuring we leave our world better than we found it.

Our Vision
- Our vision is a world where everyone of Caribbean heritage lives happy and fulfilled lives.
